Terrain: tarmacked paths & pavements, muddy woodland and riverside paths & stone steps

Please be patient when waiting to be served at pubs. On a Saturday afternoon Durham pubs will be very busy and crowded.

Overview: Our group will meet at The Bridge Hotel, Durham from where the walk will start.
The first pub we visit on the walk Bishops Mill is a JD Wetherspoons
This has a choice of hot and cold food available to purchase.
The walk will continue to three other pubs, and will finish at the award-winning Station House. Please remember to bring credit cards, bus fares and / or passes.
Dogs are allowed on our walks but please check with the pubs that they are “Dog Friendly”.
10.20am X12 bus (to Durham) from Eldon Square Newcastle arrives at Durham bus station at 11.15am. Please check arrivabus.co.uk
Various train operators provide regular services from Newcastle Central to Durham station
