CAMRAmble – Kenton Bank Foot to Newburn Linear Walk

Mileage: 6.0 – 6.5 total approx.
Terrain: mostly tarmacked paths, pavements, footpaths are not expected to be muddy. Good strong walking shoes or boots recommended
Overview: Our group will meet The Twin Farms pub, Kenton Bank Foot (opens 11.30am) for a prompt walk start at 12.30am. Food is available at our first pub stop, The Jingling Gate, please see their website for the food menu. The walk continues mainly in a southerly direction and finishes at The Tyne Amateur Rowing Club, Newburn.
Dogs are allowed on our walks but please check with the pubs that they are “Dog Friendly”.
Please be patient when waiting to be served at pubs. On a Saturday afternoon pubs will be very busy with diners and be crowded.
